The city of Cheney is looking for volunteers to assist with this year’s Cheney Clean Sweep. The seventh annual day to collect litter and clean up public spaces takes place Saturday, April 26 beginning at 9 a.m. at Veterans’ Memorial Park.
Volunteers are needed. If interested contact Brett Lucas as 498-9221 or blucase@cityofcheney.org.
The city is also scheduling its large item pickup week for April 21-24 to coincide with Cheney Clean Sweep. Large item pick up will take place on resident’s normal collection day....
