Adams earns more honors ­

Following his 16-of-18, 300 yard and four-touchdown performance in Eastern Washington's 54-29 dismantling of Montana State last Saturday at Roos Field, the Eagles' Vernon Adams has garnered a number of both national and league honors.

Adams has been selected by The Sports Network as its co-National Offensive Player of the Week and was also named the ROOT Sports Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Week. 

Adams, a 6-foot, 190-pound sophomore from Pasadena, Calif., earned national player of the week honors from College Sports Madness and Beyond Sports Network, and was the College Football Performance Awards FCS Quarterback Performer of the Week.With his efforts on the day, Adams became the school's single-season leader in passing touchdowns with 39.

This is Adams' third Player of the Week honor this season in the Big Sky Conference, and the fifth of his career.
