Cheney boys' soccer players make all-state

The Washington State Soccer Coaches Association named three members of the Cheney High School boys' soccer team to 2A all-state spring soccer teams.

Evan Cook was a first-team all-state selection as a defender. The Blackhawks' senior was a four-year varsity player who started 80 games for Cheney over his career, scoring nine goals including three in 2012.

Seniors CJ Skillingstad and Forester Seipp were second-team all-state selections at midfielder and forward. Skillingstad had 18 goals and 10 assists this season, 33 goals and 17 assists for his career as a four-year letter winner and three-year starter for Cheney and was named the Great Northern League's Offensive Most Valuable Player. Seipp had 18 goals and 11 assists in 2012, 28 and 20 over his career as a three-year letter winner and two-year starter and was an All-GNL first team selection along with Cook and Skillingstad in 2012.
