Eastern Washington University's hockey team got off to a promising start in their new league with a sweep of the Thompson Rivers University Wolf Pack this past weekend at the University Recreation Center in Cheney.
The Eagles won Friday's contest 6-2, rallying from a 2-1 first period deficit and 4-3 Saturday getting a late goal with 3 minutes, 15 seconds to play from freshman AJ Sanders to complete his 3-goal hat trick.
