Cheney boys’ golf compete against Arlington and at Coeur d’Alene Invite

Cheney High School’s

boys golf team took on Arlington

High School in a dual

match at Indian Canyon on

Saturday, April 17, with the

Eagles from the west side

downing the Blackhawks

427-456.

Keaton Tanzer and Cutter

Kuwada led Cheney with

rounds of 91, followed by

Tyler Maurer with a 92, Matt

Chapman 94, Sean Thaut 105

and Richi Perez 114.

The Blackhawks also competed

in the Coeur d’Alene

Invitation at Avondale Golf

Course on Monday, April

19. The host Vikings won the

tournament, no team scores

were available.

Tanzer led the Blackhawks

with a round of 91, followed

by Chapman 92, Kuwada 96,

Maurer 100 and Thaut 112.
