Blackhawks do well at Mooberrys, lose key senior to Achilles injury

Saturday's Mooberry Relays produced good news and bad news for the Cheney boys track team.

The good news is the Blackhawks showed steady improvement in finishing tied for 12th with Shadle Park out of 19 boys teams competing at Gonzaga Prep's track and field facility. The bad news is they lost a top candidate for state in the field events and a key member of a relay team to a season-ending injury.
