    The Medical Lake girl's basketball team won three Northeast A League basketball games last week, including 46-37 against Chewelah, to run their record to a perfect 10-0 in league play.     Eastern Washington University men’s basketball player Jacob Wiley was awarded National Mid-Major Player of the Week honors, as well as Big Sky Conference Player of the Week, from College Sports Madness.     The Cheney High School boys swimming team was particularly impacted by the lack of school last week, thanks mainly to two weather-related postponements on top of a Monday holiday. The Blachawks’ home meet last Thursday with Grandview and Prosser was canceled and will not be made up, head coach Jennifer Hochwalt said, due to the proximity of district competition Feb. 2–4 and scheduling conflicts.
