In the battle of the Northeast A League's top boys' basketball teams on Jan. 6, Freeman topped Medical Lake 58-44 victory at home. "It wasn't their shooting that killed us, it was their inside play," Cardinals' head coach Noel Hachtel said. "We hadn't faced a team that had that inside presence."
