    SPOKANE VALLEY – An excessive heat warning was expected to expire at 11 p.m. Thursday night, Aug. 17, after several days of 100-plus degree temperatures. Meanwhile, a fire weather watch came and went overnight Wednesday and early Thursday. No records were set during this week’s heat wave.
