The city of Medical Lake has imposed a restriction on unauthorized recreational fires — including campfires, fire bowls and fire pits — and open burning until further notice.
The restriction does not prevent owners from using manufactured portable outdoor fireplaces, barbecues or patio warmers. Approved fuels such as seasoned firewood, briquettes, natural or propane gas may be used. Disposing vegetative waste in a recreation fire is prohibited.
