    Help a Cheney neighbor get yardwork done this spring In conjunction with Cheney’s annual community cleanup day, Cheney Clean Sweep, area residents may nominate an elderly or disabled friend, neighbor, or family member for free spring cleaning yardwork.     In a March 16 news release, the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the identity of a woman who passed away in a March 14 structure fire as Cherie Wilson. The release lists smoke inhalation as the cause of death.     The Cheney Middle School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter competed at the 2017 Northeast Regional Winter Conference, held Feb. 4 at the Eastpoint Church in Spokane Valley.
