CHENEY - The Cheney boys' basketball team lost its two opening games of the 2024-25 season, 55-49 at West Valley, Dec. 3 and 66-55 at North Central, Dec. 6.
Kade Adderly's 12 points were tops for Cheney which saw West Valley explode to score 30 fourth quarter points, a total that erased a 39-25 Blackhawks lead heading into the final period.
"We were up and in control after three quarters, but we lost focus and broke down in the fourth quarter," head coach Travis Peevey wrote in an email.
