Served five terms as mayor

CHENEY – William Thomas (Tom) Trulove, a transformative figure in Cheney's history and an economist, passed away on Dec. 2 at the age of 81.

Trulove, who served as Cheney's mayor for five terms, dedicated his life to public service and the betterment of his community. His tenure in public office spanned decades, including roles on the city council and planning board, as well as leadership positions on county and statewide boards.
