Cheney Market opened on July 30, but is still in the process of setting up shop, with a supply truck outside on August 1.
CHENEY – Cheney Market opened its doors on Tuesday, July 30 this past week. The store was still being set up on Thursday, August 1, and there were boxes near the front counter, and at the cash register was Manjot Simgh, one of the co-owners of the convenience store.
It is one of the only stores in Cheney that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
After allowing us to take a few photos of the interior, Simgh told the Free Press that he didn't have time for an interview.
The store is located at 1902 1st Street in downtown Cheney....
