Buell Felts monument unveiled

SPOKANE VALLEY – A monument to honor the accomplishments of Buell Felts has been finished, placed, and finally unveiled on Sept. 15.
According to Rae Anna Victor with the Daughters of the American Revolution, over 100 people gathered in Pines Cemetery for the unveiling of the monument.
Partnerships between several local groups helped bring this monument into existence, and the monument was made by Fairmount Memorial Association.
The event opened with a historic flyover, and then the flag presentation was done by the 141st Fairchild Honor Guard.
