An open tryout for various levels of baseball in Medical Lake is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 6.
The event, which seeks to bolster interest and numbers for existing teams like the 18U Cannons and 15U Dirt Dawgs, as well as a new 17U program, takes place at Holliday Field in Medical Lake from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Tryouts are designed to attract prospects in grades seven through 12.
