Man arrested after damaging water lines

SPOKANE VALLEY – A man was arrested On July 18 after he broke into a suite in the 1000 block of N. Pines Rd. and was reported by an alert neighbor according to reports.

Records show Spokane Valley Deputies quickly responded to the building and Deputy J. Gallaher found water to be freely flowing from the second floor to the first floor.

According to reports deputies got into the locked building, and found the suspect, 33-year-old Andrew M. Nelson.

Nelson was observed lying on the ground, clutching a knife in his hand, apparently trying to hide reports say.
