POST FALLS, ID – A huge crowd gathered at Findlay Stadium Stateline Speedway on Saturday, June 17 to celebrate Father's Day with the third annual Fatherfest event.
There were some presentations on site geared right toward the dads in the crowd, including motorcycles, car show, live music, live wrestling, food vendors and a burnout contest that was won by an 11-year-old boy from Spokane, Taz Tarr.
Tarr is part of a youth racing league in the area.
One of the event vendors, Helenee Hannus said the event was a big success and it really highlighted the community.
According to Hannus several of the motorcycle groups were there in support of other causes as well.
"A large variety of local motorcycle clubs were present from a club that rides for disabilities," Hannus said. To a group in support of veterans, Gaurdian Angels for Kids and Soul Patrol."
According to Hannus, watching the kids running around and having a good time is what makes the event so rewarding to be a part of.
"The children had so much fun with the burn outs, face painting and amateur wrestling and jump house," Hannus said. "They really made it a great family event."
