Former policeman sues Cheney for $5.5 million

CHENEY – Attorneys representing former police officer Chad Eastep have filed a notice of tort claim with the city, claiming damages of $5.5 million.

This claim for damages form and the accompanying tort claim were filed with the city on Jan. 9, 2023. The claims are filed against the city and the police department for injurious conduct, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and others, according to the notice.
