Cold starts continue to hamper ML boys

Fortunes shift for Medical Lake girls

The Medical Lake girls started last week off undefeated 2-0 in Northeast A League play and ended it at .500 and 2-2.

 Following the resumption of play in 2023, the Cardinals collected a 39-34 Northeast A League win over Riverside (0-4 NEA, 4-7 overall), Jan. 3. That was followed with Colville’s 51-31 win, Jan. 6 and a 52-23 loss at Deer Park, Jan. 7.

 Riverside led the game 29-27 after three quarters, but Medical Lake’s 14-5 burst in the fourth quarter turned things around.
