Campus trespasser arrested for multiple offenses

CHENEY – Eastern Washington University Police placed Jarell Davis in Spokane county jail on Dec. 21 on four outstanding warrants for first and second degree trespassing.

Davis (19) was booked into Spokane county detention center on Dec. 21 and charged with two counts of first-degree criminal trespass and two counts of second-degree criminal trespass.

Sergeant Nick Gerard of the EWU police said “A staff member recognized Davis and reported him for trespassing inside Dryden Hall on Dec. 21. We arrested him on criminal trespass charges and booked him into the Spokane County jail.”

Gerard said that Davis failed to appear in court concerning previous trespass charges from EWU police, and warrants for his arrest were issued as a result.

At the time of publication, Davis was in the Spokane county jail with a bond of $800.
