Cheney library tree lighting attended by mayor and residents.
CHENEY – Holiday hoopla began at the public library at 5:30p.m. on Dec. 2. The event included such activities and amenities as crafts and ornament making for kids, group story time in the children's section, hot chocolate, and the tree lighting.
Also in attendance were members of the Cheney Centennial Lions Club, who were hosting and helping with the Christmas card making program. The cards made at this event will go to the residents of the Cheney Care Center.
