Eastern women improve to 3-0

With two victories last week, the Eastern Washington women’s basketball team has now started 3-0 for the first time since the 2006-07 season.

The Eagles concluded a 2-0 week with a rare win at Boise State, 83-74 on Nov. 11. The win ended an eight-game losing streak against the Broncos. They then got a clutch buzzer-beater layup from Jamie Loera in a 62-60 win over Southern Utah, Nov. 14 at Reese Court.

In Boise, Jaydia Martin led the team with 17 points, tying for the game high. Aaliyah Alexander added 14 points while Loera and Jacinta Buckley...
