Eastern men fall at Santa Clara
Eastern Washington men’s basketball began its 2022-23 season Nov. 7 with a 84-72 loss at Santa Clara of the West Coast Conference.
Angelo Allegri led the Eagles with 19 points, Tyreese Davis added another 12 while Casey Jones recorded his first career double-double, scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Turnovers were a major factor in the game, as Eastern had 16 that led to 24 points for the Broncos.
Eastern will next compete in the Outrigger Rainbow Classic in Honolulu, Hawai’i, starting Friday, Nov. 11 against Yale. The Eagles play host Hawaii Nov. 1...
