Eastern loses second-half battle with Weber

Wildcats turn it on late to claim 45-21 win over Eagles in Ogden

Eastern Washington and Weber State went eye-to-eye and toe-to-toe for the better part of three quarters Oct. 8 at Stewart Stadium in Ogden, Utah.

Tied 21-21 following Mitchell Johnson's scoop-and-score fumble return with 7 minutes, 1 second left in the third, Weber State went on to score the next 24 points and rolled over Eastern 45-21 in a Big Sky Conference football game.

With the loss, Eastern falls to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in conference, while Weber State stays perfect at 2-0 and 5-0 overall.
