CHENEY – Students from Eastern Washington University have been parking their vehicles improperly, obstructing fire hydrants and fire lanes. The number of incidents has increased dramatically since August.
“This year, parking in front of fire hydrants and in Fire Lanes is a problem at and around the EWU campus like we haven’t seen in a long time.” Said Fire Marshal Tim Steiner today, Sept. 28, 2022.
