CHENEY – The Police Department responded to the following calls for service from Aug. 8-16:

Aug. 8

Shawn S. Struck, 52, arrested for fourth-degree assault and Bryce D. Smith, 34, arrested for violation of a court order follow in the 1500 block of First Street.

Domestic violence reported in the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Bent window screen reported in the 0 block of Alki Street.

Vehicle egged in the 300 block of North 11th Street.

Assault reported in the 1100 block of First Street.

Harassment reported in the 2600 block of Eton Lane.

Aug. 9

Wallet, credit cards, documents, tools, breast pump and perfume stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Erie Street.

Online scam reported in the 0 block of Fifth Street.

Aug. 10

Juvenile, 17, arrested for stealing a soaker hose and timer in the 400 block of North Fifth Street.

Juvenile, 17, arrested for second-degree burglary and third-degree possession of stolen property in the 700 block of Cedar Street. Juvenile was also in possession of a dangerous weapon on school property and is accused of stealing keys and a respirator from an aquatics building.

Padlock cut off trailer in the 1000 block of First Street.

1981 Chevrolet El Camino reportedly abandoned in the 300 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.

Brandon L. Brooks, 31, arrested for fourth-degree assault-domestic violence in the 700 block of Seventh Street.

Verbal domestic dispute reported in the 200 block of North First Street.

Aug. 11

Key found in the 600 block of Mike McKeehan Way.

Package stolen from porch in the 400 block of North Fifth Street.

Vehicle scratched and dented in the 0 block of Alki Street.

Shoplifting of energy drink reported in the 100 block of West First Street.

Ronan L. Whiteplume, 28, arrested on a warrant for fourth-degree assault-domestic violence following a call for a domestic violence burglary in the 300 block of Erie Street.

Threats with a weapon reported in the 400 block of First Street.

Aug. 12

Fight reported in the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Verbal domestic dispute in the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Aug. 13

Verbal domestic dispute reported in the 100 block of Alki Street.

Verbal domestic dispute reported in the 2200 block of First Street.

Verbal domestic dispute reported in the 300 block of Erie Street.

Verbal domestic dispute reported in the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle road.

Aug. 14

Mental heath issue reported in the 300 block of Erie Street.

Sudden death of a 47-year-old man reported in the 700 block of West First Street.

Lanier O. White, 59, arrested for second-degree attempted murder, second-degree assault and felony harassment in the 200 block of North 11th Street.

Verbal dispute at 1007 N. Prentis St.
