CHENEY — A Colville woman has been named as the new assistant principal at Cheney Middle School.
Megan Smedley, 35, was hired for the post last month.
Smedley has served as the Colville School District athletic director since 2018 and as interim assistant principal since March.
Prior to her rolls in Colville, she was a mathematics teacher at Ellensburg High School.
