Dave Tareski

1934 – 2022

In loving memory of our husband and father, David Tareski, who passed away on April 09, 2022, at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane Washington from complications with his heart. Dave was born in Bottineau, North Dakota on November 29, 1934 to Raymond Tareski and Vivian (Simon) Tareski.

He graduated from Bottineau High School and continued on to receive a mechanical degree from North Dakota State School of Science. Dave was married to Donna Dunn on November 15, 1958; they were married 63 Years.

He was the devoted husband of Donna and the loving father of Lauri, Mike, Mick, Matt, Marc, Monte, and Angela. He also was a wonderful grandfather to 16 grandkids and 11 great grandkids. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

One of the kindest and hardest working souls on this planet, our father was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage.

Early in life, our father learned the importance of hard work and he instilled that same work ethic in us. He was always there for us, whether we needed help with life or just a little helping hand. He was a man of strong faith and he taught us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Vivian Tareski, his brother Val Tareski, sisters-in-law Marion Thompson and Georgia Calvert, and brothers-in-law Don Hanenburg, Russ Thompson and Ed Calvert.

Our father was a true role model who we will always look up to by not only his family but the entire community. The memorial service and Mass will be held at St. Aloysius Gonzaga on June 17th at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow at Cedar Creek Village Clubhouse.

Dad, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
