Our beloved mother Florence, passed away in her home on May 16, 2022. Florence was born to Sidney Goodwin and Medora (Fuller) Goodwin on June 18, 1928 in Colfax Wash. Florence attended school at Colfax, Amber and Cheney, graduating from Cheney High School in 1946.

She married the love of her life, John (Bud) H. Harris on Dec. 3, 1946. They had four sons whom they raised on the family farm in Amber, Wash.

Florence devoted her entire life to her family beginning with all the household chores for all her siblings after her mother passed away. She knew exactly what to do when she had her own four boys. Florence was a wonderful homemaker, cook and baker. We will forever miss her many specialties, especially the homemade dinner rolls and cinnamon rolls.

Florence loved to tell stories about life on the farm raising her four energetic boys and the mischief they got into. She was an avid sports fan and became the boys' own personal cheerleader. She attended basketball, baseball, football games and track-meets regardless of the distance or weather, she was there. She continued this support while attending the games of her grandchildren.

Florence belonged to Martha Chapter of Eastern Star until it closed and then joined with the Malden Chapter of Eastern Star. She was proud to receive her 50 - year pin and lifetime membership.

Florence loved to play bridge and belonged to or subbed for many bridge clubs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother s Clinton and Edward Honroth, Frederick, John, James, William, Maurice Goodwin, her sister Gertrude Floyd and her beloved husband, Bud.

Florence is survived by her sons Robert (Sandy), Les (Rosemary), John and Paul (Martha), all from the Cheney area. She also leaves nine grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
