Ben Schreiber was awarded a state championship in Website Design, and Jason Hatfield placed in the top 5 in all four of his events, including two second-place finishes.
Emme Murray took second in Database Design and Mika Corneil and Nia Guest finished top 10 in all four of their events.
“There was also strong performances from Luke Hurd, Garrett Heuett, Micah Richardson, Jonathan Ramsey, Draven Carter, and Connor Gall who all placed in three different events,” Smith said. “As a chapter, the team had a very strong showing with all teams but two competing to move past the preliminary round into finals.”
According to Smith, more than 1,300 students from around the state competed at the FBLA State Business Leadership Conference. Students who place top four are eligible to compete at the National Business Leadership Conference from June 27-July 3.
