Grant helps teacher with efficiency

CHENEY – Middle school teacher Amy Bumpus has used a $150 Spokane Teachers Credit Union grant to purchase classroom supplies.

She purchased 150 12-sided dice, 36 whiteboard markers, five sets of fraction dice, and 30 rulers, microfiber cloths and heavy-duty magnets.

“The grant allowed me to purchase things for my classroom that will empower me to create systems that will allow in class times to be more efficient,” she said. “If I have the supplies magnetted to their desks, then they are always ready to be used.”

She said she has plans to purchase magnets for pens, as well.
