AIRWAY HEIGHTS – Identified as “Project Gray,” a new Amazon facility is being built on approximately 45 acres neighboring the fulfillment center just off Interstate 90.
This will make the sixth facility operated by Amazon in Spokane County, officials said. The facility will employ 700 workers.
As this facility at 6125 S. Hayford Road is completed and filled, that will put Amazon near the top of Spokane County employers, potentially employing around 4,000 people in the multiple facilities housed.
