Keys were found on the 2700 Block of Bethany Street.
A vehicle was broken into and a suitcase, clothing, personal items, and vehicle title, were stolen on the 2800 Block of Al Ogdon Way.
August 31
Verbal domestic violence was reported on the 1000 Block of Betz Road.
A burglary was reported at the 1500 Block of West 1st Street. A GPS unit, Bluetooth headset, USB camera, charging cords, and clothing were stolen.
September 1
Brent J. Lerma, 38, was arrested on a felony warrant and two misdemeanors on the 1800 Block of 1st Street.
A gunshot wound was reported on the 200 Block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. The event is currently under investigation and no additional information has been released to the public.
September 2
Domestic violence assault in the Fourth-degree was reported on the 2200 Block of Marigold Circle.
September 3
A vehicle crashed into a fence on the 200 Block of Buena Vista Street.
A vehicle was broken into and a purse with money, keys, and prescription medication was stolen on the 500 Block of 1st Street.
Harassment was reported on the 200 Block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.
September 4
A 16-year-old runaway male was located on the 200 Block of G Street.
September 5
A 16-year-old runaway female was reported and returned home later in the day on the 500 Block of North 3rd Street.
A person was arrested after discharging a weapon in the city and is being treated for mental issues on the 400 Block of Annie Place.
The Cheney Police Department assisted with a child abuse case originally reported in Colorado on the 1600 Block of 3rd Street.

Larenzo O Harrison was arrested on the 800 block South of Garfield Road for Domestic Violence/Fourth Degree Assault.
Troy E Simpson was arrested on the 1200 block South of Hayford Road for Trespassing and lying to a Police Officer.
