Scottie Dog fire contained

Cheney-area crews contained a blaze to about 140 acres late Monday afternoon. The incident started about 3 p.m. as a barn fire and spread to dry timber, prompting evacuation notices for residents in the area of Scottie Dog Lane and Pine Meadows Lane.
