Author Lisa Napoli focuses on pivotal figures in news media history

SPOKANE — The County Library District has announced a special event with journalist and author Lisa Napoli on Thursday, Aug. 5, at 6:30 p.m., presented with media partner Spokane Public Radio.

During the online program “The 24-Hour News Cycle & How It Created a World of News Junkies” with Napoli, discover the stories of some of the key figures who were instrumental in forever changing daily news for Americans. Napoli will also discuss her nonfiction titles “Susan, Linda, Nina, and Cokie: The Extraordinary Story of the Founding Mothers of NPR” and “Up All Night: Ted Turner, CNN...
