CHENEY — A project to rezone 12.07 acres of land from R-2 two-family residential to R-1 single-family residential was proposed by Cheney residents on June 25. The area designated is outlined as Lincoln Street to the east, EWU to the north, Clover Court to the west, and West 5th Street to the south. The intent of the proposal is to maintain construction of single-family housing in a location already dominated by R-1 single-family structures.
