MEDICAL LAKE — Medical Lake boys’ tennis kept its record unblemished following a pair of Northeast A League wins last week, both by 4-1 scores vs. Newport (April 19) and Deer Park (April 21).
The Cardinals (4-0) swept singles play with Tristan Francis winning 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 and Josh Burt cruising 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2. “Josh used this as an opportunity to work on serving and play strategies he’s trying to develop,” his coach, Brian Tellez wrote in an email.
Ryen Gibby and Jonah Lindsey were winners at No. 2 doubles, 6-4, 6-4 while Cameron Dickey and Noah Young won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3...
