Selkirk Pharma construction underway near SIA

SPOKANE — The wide open spaces of the West Plains continue to become slightly less so each day.

In a report from the Inland Northwest Business Watch, Selkirk Pharma has announced that the pharmaceutical manufacturer has construction underway on a 147,600 square foot facility for the injectable drug manufacturing and packaging start-up.

When complete later in 2021 it is estimated that the facility will employ about 300.

Located along Flint Road, just north of Spokane International Airport and near the Airway Heights / Spokane city limits, construction is visible at 9110 W. Granite Road.

Bouten Construction is the project’s general contractor, Bernardo Wills Architects the architect with Coffman Engineers and DCI Engineering providing engineering for the project.

McKinstry warehouse, fabrication facility under way

Seattle based McKinstry Co. is preparing to construct a 67,500 square foot warehouse and fabrication facility west of the present Triumph plant off of Flint Road near Airway Heights. The facility, according to Inland Northwest Business Watch, will be part of a larger project with several future phases planned.


Pipe supplier building warehouse/retail structure

The Kent, Wash. Puget Sound Pipe & Supply will add itself to the mix of new businesses both large and small along Flint Road on the West Plains.

The pipe valve and fitting manufacturer and retailer will build a new 20,000 square foot building reports the Inland Northwest Business Watch. Construction is planned to begin this spring.
