RIVERDALE, Utah – Carter Ledwith and Kaylin Sheley were the top finishers for the Eastern Washington University cross country teams as the Eagles competed in the 2021 Big Sky Conference Winter Championships for their second meet of the season.
The Eastern men and women both finished 10th among the 11 teams in the league.
Ledwith led the Eastern men by finishing 38th on the 8,000-meter course with a time of 25:55.7. Sheley was the Eagles’ top women’s finisher, placing 47th with a time of 19:22.2 on a 5,000-meter course. Phoenix Aguilar finished six places behind Sheley with a time of 19:38.1.
