Eagle women fall to UW in tennis

SEATTLE – The Eastern Washington University women’s tennis squad battled the University of Washington to a 6-1 loss in Seattle on Feb. 12 at the Nordstrom Tennis Center. Following the match, the Eagles now sit 0-3 overall.

“I’m very proud of the team again today for the grit and desire they showed out on court,” head coach Dustin Hinson said. “Every match was a battle and we showed the kind of tennis we can play against the best competition in Division 1 tennis. Great win at No.3 doubles and No.2 singles. And we took three of the other singles matches to a deciding third set.”...
