AIRWAY HEIGHTS — A third fire has erupted here, prompting officials to ask for state assistance.
The Euclid Track Fire is burning in grass and timber, officials said.
The blaze started at about 4:36 p.m. Monday, and has reached an estimated 25 acres, officials said. Level 2 evacuation notices have been issued for nearby homes.
Level 2 means fire is close and residents should be ready to leave if they plan to evacuate.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
