Fire burning northeast of Spangle

SPANGLE — Fire crews are currently headed to an area on Heaton Road for a wildfire burning in dry grass and timber.

Heaton Road is located east of U.S. Highway 195, which connects Spokane to Pullman.

Officials have given a preliminary size of about 100 acres; no other details are available, yet.
