FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE -- It was a great day for the families and 19 members of the 92rd Air Refueling Squadron, who returned to Fairchild Air Force Base July 1 after being deployed in Turkey for seven months (some even longer).

It was the longest amount of time that two KC-135 Stratotankers have been deployed from Fairchild. Soldiers were originally scheduled to return in April, but due to COVID concerns, weren't given the clearance to come home until the last couple weeks.
