WEST PLAINS – Government offices in Airway Heights, Cheney and Medical Lake will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.
Additionally, garbage and recycling collections will be delayed. In Cheney, residential cart service will be delayed one day, with commercial service catching up through the week. The city’s recycling center will open on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
In Medical Lake, garbage will be collected on Thursday, May 28, rather than Wednesday, May 27.
All county offices will also be closed on Monday, including both waste transfer stations and the Waste-to-Energy plant on Geiger Boulevard.
