39th Annual Killin Dinner is Saturday, April 18

CHENEY — Tickets are on sale for the 39th annual Killin Dinner, Dance and Auction on April 18 at Eastern Washington University.

Tickets are $100 per individual and $700 for a table of eight.

More information and a registration link to order tickets.is available via: goeags.com/killin. The registration deadline is Tuesday, April 14.

This year’s dinner will be plated and not buffet style as in the past. The cost will include salad, steak and lobster dinner, dessert and four drink tickets.

Killin takes place at the EWU Sports and Recreation Center starting with a social hour and auction at 4:30 p.m., followed by the dinner (6 p.m.), program/presentations/live auction (7 p.m.) and dancing (8 p.m.).

Unlike in the past, the annual Red-White Spring Football Game will not take place prior to Killin. It is instead scheduled on Friday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Roos Field.

Net proceeds benefit areas of greatest need within Eastern Athletics. The event is named in honor of Orland Killin, who, along with his wife Bernice, helped create the event.

Killin was a man immensely dedicated to academics and the integrity of Eastern Washington University, serving as professor, faculty athletic representative and faculty president. He was an Eastern football letter winner in 1941-42.

In 2019, a record total of just over $130,000 was raised at the event.
