Valerie Prather (Age 78) passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Feb. 24, 2020.
Valerie was a resident of Cheney for 40 years. She retired from Eastern Washington University where she worked as a clerk in the book store.
Valerie is survived by her four children; Lucy Petrini, Jim, Jeff and Tim Leonard; her 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held this summer in Tacoma, Wash.
