CHENEY – The Lady Blackhawks 2019-2020 season came to an end last Friday afternoon in District 7 competition at University High School against a Clarkston team that might be starting to hit its peak.

The Bantams got 27 points from Ashlyn Wallace and used a smothering defense to limit Cheney’s top-two scorers to a total of 14 points to eliminate the Lady Blackhawks from the post-season 61-43.

“Clarkston is playing really well,” Cheney head coach Roxi Smith said. “The Clarkston team we expected to see early in the season is the one we’re seeing these last two games.”
