One killed in North Rambo Road crash

AIRWAY HEIGHTS -- One man was killed in a one-car crash late in the evening Tuesday, Feb. 25.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff's Office, a Chevy pickup was apparently traveling south on North Rambo Road near West Deno Road at approximately 7:45 p.m. when the vehicle suddenly left the roadway to the west onto the shoulder. The driver corrected causing the truck to cross the centerline to the east, where he again corrected causing the vehicle to roll.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the pickup truck.The sole occupant of the vehicle, he was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been release pending notification of next of kin.

SCSO investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.
