Malicious mischief includes possible hate crime

Cheney police investigating links between incidents occuring overnight Dec. 9-10

CHENEY -- Police investigators are looking into possible links between "numerous" reports of damage to vehicles that took place overnight, Dec. 9-10. One of those occurred on Buena Vista Street across from the Garden Manor Apartment complex in which not only was damage done to both windshields but the "N" word was spray-painted on the vehicle in what could be a possible hate crime.
